Every time we are given the opportunity to talk about GLOW4equalitys work or hold a workshop on gender equality, we grab the opportunity and celebrate it. In all contexts and in different ways it is powerful to put gender equality in the spotlight, to put the spotlight on our way to contribute as well as having the attendees breaking down gender equality issues to something within their own control to influence.
Coverage on GLOW4equality's work in different channels; regional and international, traditional media and digital platforms. Spreading knowlage about the social entreprenureship and the work we do is important, to keep enable proffesional coaching for women who work to combat gender inequality around the world.
October 1st 2021 GLOW4equalitys first group finished their six-month coaching program and ended with a celebration focused session. The theme of this coaching group: Eliminate all forms of violence against all women and girls in the public and private spheres, including trafficking and sexual and other types of exploitation. The women attending are all dedicated to combat gender inequality and individually work within this field from different angles.
ICC Coach Pia Moberg, leads the first group ever in GLOW4equality’s coaching program. The participants in the group are all women engaged to combat gender inequality and share a mission: contributing to eliminate all forms of violence against all women and girls. The group started their six months together in April 2021 and as of this blog-article, the group have worked through two thirds of the program. We wanted to get Pia’s perspective of the process.
The campaign theme for International Women's Day 2021 is #ChooseToChallenge. A challenged world is an alert world. Individually, we're all responsible for our own thoughts and actions - all day, every day. We can all choose to challenge inequality. From challenge comes change, so let's all choose to challenge.
