W.I.S.E, a network of Iranian women arranged a Conference in Berlin, Germany 🇩🇪 September 6th 2025, where GLOW4equality attended. “Solidarity for Democracy, Equality, and Sustainable Peace” was the topic - with focus on Iran as a country, that since 1979 is lead as a Theocracy and the Islamic Republic of Iran 🇮🇷.
Women’s Independence and Sustainable Equality Network , W.I.S.E invited GLOW4equality Founder Sara Carlemår as a speaker at the conference. Sara shared how the oppression of women in Iran and their fight for freedom inspired to create positive change, after a trip to the country 2017. Sara also talked about the ripple effects around GLOW4equality's work today. The speech went from "My moment of change for equality: in a dusty garage in Iran" to sharing impact and stories from our latest Social Impact Report.
