# Crowdfunding one part of GLOW4equalitys financing

Crowdfunding is, just as it sounds, is when a large group of individuals help with small sums to finance something, instead of a few investors contributing with a larger sum. GLOW4equality is a social business startup financed by a combination of public funding, philanthropists, Crowdfunding and business partners. We’re delighted to already have secured around 20 business partners and partial public funding this past year and now launch our first Crowdfunding-campaign.

Funding will be used for

- Fee in Coaching program for 12 women, covering costs for professional coaches to two coaching groups
- Impact measurement of our pilot study, validating the program prior to a wider launch

The upcoming coaching groups are part of a pilot study prior to a wider launch. These two groups are joining around the themes: "Eliminate forced marriages and female genital mutilation (FGM)" and "Ensure full participation in leadership and decision-making”.
